Guess what? The beginning of July marked my eighth blog anniversary. I’m now starting my ninth year of writing at The Inspired Room, and it still feels a little unreal to be here doing work I love. I had planned a small celebration, but the move across the water consumed every bit of energy—I’m sure you know how exhausting relocating can be!
I’ll share a longer reflection on those first eight years soon, but for now I want to say thank you. I’m deeply grateful to you, my readers, for making this journey so rewarding. Your support has brought joy and growth to my life, and I appreciate every one of you.
It’s exciting to begin a new season of blogging from our “new” old house in Seattle. When I started this blog with almost no expectations, I never imagined I would still be opening my home and sharing ideas with so many of you years later. There are still plenty of adventures and projects ahead, and I can’t wait to get into them.
Before I began blogging I ran The Inspired Room as a decorating business. Over time that business grew and opened doors to meaningful partnerships with brands I trust. Those collaborations have stretched me professionally and personally, and they help me continue offering useful, relevant content here on the blog.
With enthusiasm for year nine, I’m honored to announce a new partnership: I’ve been selected as one of four Brand Ambassadors for Samsung Home Appliances. This is a dream collaboration, and I’ll be working with Samsung over the next six months.
