Christmas DIY Projects and Cozy Room Tour Roundup

Christmas Ideas

Between everyday life and holiday preparations, I haven’t published a new post here in a few days. I’ve been cleaning, decorating, and getting everything ready to welcome you for the Christmas Home Tours next week. I’m not quite finished, but I’m having a blast—this is the most fun I’ve had decorating for Christmas in this house.

Not posting here lately doesn’t mean I’ve been quiet—I’ve been sharing projects and inspiration across a few sites. I love highlighting creative bloggers and their ideas and I’ve been adding fresh DIY projects and new room tours you can enjoy.

I’ve added some fun new Christmas DIYs and a few recent Room Tours for inspiration. I enjoy featuring talented bloggers and their creative spaces, so be sure to click through to see their work—there’s more coming this week.

Note: If you are featured in Room Tours or DIY, feel free to use the “I was featured” badge.

I also wrote a piece titled “The Good Dishes” for (in)courage that reflects on gratitude, hospitality, and finding blessing in ordinary days. It’s a post that felt meaningful to me and I hope it resonates with you as well.

Additionally, I rounded up six simple DIY Christmas crafts for Roo Mag, the new online magazine from actress Candace Cameron Bure. It was fun to contribute some easy, seasonal ideas you can try at home.

I’ll be back soon with updates on my Christmas decorating and with more Room Tours and DIY features throughout the week. If I can keep Jack from un-doing the decorations, I hope to share a peek at my own home before next week’s Home Tours.

And because one holiday event is never enough, I’m also gearing up for our church’s second annual Hideous Christmas Sweater Party and Awkward Family Photo Day this weekend. It’s always lively around here!

How about you — is your week as busy and festive as mine?
