A few practical ways to bring a seaside cottage vibe into your home include choosing a relaxed palette of whites, soft blues, and sandy neutrals; introducing natural materials like wood and wicker; and layering in coastal-inspired textiles and botanical accents. Open shelving, airy curtains, and casual, comfortable furniture all contribute to a relaxed, lived-in charm. Even small touches—seashells in a bowl, weathered picture frames, or a woven rug—can transport a room toward that coastal mood.
You don’t need a large renovation to capture seaside charm. Decluttering, refreshing paint, and thoughtful accessorizing are often enough to transform a space. The goal is a welcoming, unassuming space where family and friends want to linger.
