Charming Homes in Autumn
Which of these autumn homes is your favorite? The first two featured here were our actual homes—one was ours and the other belonged to my parents—but I would happily live in any of them. Each house captures that warm, nostalgic feeling autumn brings.
We made so many sweet memories in the cozy English cottage where we lived for years with our three children. Those quiet afternoons pushing strollers and evenings riding bikes through piles of fallen leaves on the way to Grandma and Grandpa’s house are moments I cherish. I miss those simple, joyful days.

Now my parents live with us in the Tiny Cottage, and soon we’ll welcome our own little grandson to make new memories together. If you missed my announcement that I’m going to be a grandma, I shared that news recently and have been savoring the idea of new seasons of family life. Time moves quickly, but when we pause to appreciate each season, it feels less like a thief and more like a gift.
