Muskoka Living Interiors
I’ve been looking through the portfolio of Muskoka Living Interiors today and I’m truly impressed. Their designs balance warm natural wood with crisp white woodwork, plaster, and painted walls, creating spaces that feel both refined and comfortably lived in. That combination—rich wood tones set beside fresh white—always feels like home to me.
Their aesthetic is cottage simplicity elevated with thoughtful details. It’s sophisticated without being fussy, relaxed but carefully crafted. The rooms have texture and substance rather than clutter or excess ornamentation. I especially love how natural wood, white paint, and varied textures are used together to create warmth and timeless appeal.
I’ve started applying some of these same ideas in my own house, drawing on familiar materials and mixing them in ways that suit this particular home. While my place isn’t as grand, the spirit of these interiors—the balance of comfort and craftsmanship—translates well. With my kitchen now finished, the house already feels more like home, and I’m excited there’s so much more that can evolve over time. Staying put means you can keep improving and refining your space.
I selected a few rooms from their work that caught my eye to share here; there are many more beautiful spaces in their portfolio. Enjoy these images and consider how natural wood, white finishes, and simple, honest design could inform your own rooms.

Those rain chains, copper gutters, and this porch are particularly lovely—simple details that make a big impact.
