Coffee Table – Indoor Furniture Blowout Sale
This post is sponsored by World Market.
HHello there! Kylee here. It’s been a while since I checked in about our Seattle townhouse, so I wanted to say hello and share a few updates. 🙂

We bought this townhouse four years ago. We still enjoy living here, but we’re always open to change. There are several updates I’ve been thinking about and I wanted to share what’s stayed the same, what’s shifting, and what might be next.

What hasn’t changed:
One thing that really hasn’t changed since we moved in is our coffee table. My mom bought it at World Market five years ago and gave it to me when we moved. It’s a great example of finding a piece that’s stylish, functional, and durable without costing a fortune.
This same coffee table is currently part of World Market’s Indoor Furniture Blowout and is on sale for a very attractive price. It’s held up incredibly well over the years — sturdy and low-maintenance — which is especially important since we often use it for meals in place of a dining table.

The quality of this table has impressed me: it still looks solid after heavy everyday use. I appreciate stores that offer good value in design, function, and quality — World Market has provided that for us.

What is always changing:
The wall behind our sofa tends to change frequently. I’m picky about art and have often used temporary pieces — wrapping paper or my own paintings — while I decide on something more permanent. Lately I’ve been arranging a gallery wall from art I’m collecting. It’s a work in progress and will likely evolve further as I fine-tune the layout and balance.

What I’m thinking of changing:
A major project I’m considering is a kitchen makeover. Our kitchen is fairly dark, and I’d like to brighten and refresh the space. A kitchen remodel is a more significant undertaking than updating a gallery wall or rearranging furniture, so I’m weighing options, budget, and the scope of work. I plan to share ideas and inspiration in a future post and would love input from readers when that time comes.

What big change could be on the horizon:
Long term, we’d love to buy a house with more space and a larger yard. Seattle’s housing market is competitive and expensive right now, which makes that goal feel both exciting and daunting. Because of the market, we’re also open to staying in this townhouse for several more years. If we do, I’d invest in updates to make this home better suited to our needs. Townhouses here tend to hold value, so I’m not overly concerned about resale if we make thoughtful improvements.

What changes I’ll be sharing soon:
I’m motivated by loving where we live, and that’s guided every change so far. I’ll be back soon with updates on recent master bedroom tweaks, an upcoming office makeover, and ideas for the kitchen refresh. In the meantime, feel free to follow along on Instagram to see small updates as they happen.
What do you change most often in your home? Or what would you change if you could? I’d love to hear your ideas in the comments!
