I couldn’t resist placing a few of my bunnies around the house last weekend. Maybe it’s early, but to me spring decor never comes too soon. I also have some big news to share in this post—something wonderful happening in our family that’s inspiring me to decorate even more for the seasons.

Over the years of blogging I’ve shared many joyful announcements, and today I have another to add: our oldest daughter Kylee is expecting a baby! Our middle daughter Courtney is due any day with a baby boy, so we feel incredibly blessed to be welcoming two grandbabies so close together.
Kylee is due in July. I’m overjoyed for her and her husband Lance and can’t wait to meet their little one.
Here are my girls from a few days ago when we went to lunch with my mom. I love that you can see my mom’s reflection in the window, watching them with such joy. My sister and I share a special connection—our first and last babies were born just five weeks apart 24 years ago—so our whole family understands how meaningful this time is for my daughters and for us as grandparents and great-grandparents.
Courtney’s little boy is already past his due date, so we’re waiting by the phone, eager for the news.
I can’t help thinking about all the fun seasons and holidays ahead with grandbabies—the perfect excuse to collect more bunnies for holiday displays and everyday charm.
