House Beautiful

IIf I lived in this charming seaside cottage, I would leave the windows open to welcome the salty breeze. Mornings would begin with a cup of coffee on the porch, watching sunlight dance across the waves. Afternoons would be for lingering with a good mystery novel, and for hunting secondhand shops and flea markets for small, meaningful finds that add personality to a home.

I can picture myself sitting in one of the Adirondack chairs with a steaming mug, watching the sunlight glitter on the water. Those quiet moments—simple and restorative—are exactly what make a seaside cottage so appealing. I would fill the rooms with comfortable, lived-in pieces: vintage finds, cozy textiles, and art that reminds me of the coast.
Now it’s your turn to imagine…what would life be like if you lived here?
