HHello friends! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We hosted this year and enjoyed having family from Portland in town. I cooked turkey for eleven, and everyone gathered in our little 1950s kitchen to peel, chop, and prep together. The Flair double oven was a big hit — so handy to have two ovens when you’re feeding a crowd.
After our meal we baked a pecan pie and a pumpkin pie, then went down to the basement to watch old family films from when the kids were small. Those simple moments make me especially grateful for family and home. I’ll share more about those films later this week. We’ve also been painting and plan to post an update next week.
