Stylish Mirrored Closet Doors: Design Ideas & Installation Tips

Happy Monday! After posting my master bedroom makeover a few weeks ago, many of you asked whether we still have the mirrored closet doors. We do — and I thought I’d share a few quick photos so you can see how they look now (Lily wanted to say hello, too).

I’ve thought about replacing the doors, and I probably will eventually, but for now they’re staying. In this small room they help open the space and bounce light around, which makes the bedroom feel larger and brighter. They’re also extremely practical as a full-length mirror when I’m getting dressed in the morning.

Replacing the doors hasn’t been a priority, especially since I may have a future project that would require removing them. The current white frames fit the room well enough for now, so I’m holding off until I’m certain of the next steps. If I do swap any, I’d replace only the set on the far side of the room. That would help quiet the space and avoid seeing your reflection right when you walk in, and it would prevent the room from being reflected down the hall.

So yes — the mirrored doors are still part of the room, and they’re staying for the time being.

Do you have a house project that’s somewhere around #175,645 on your list but you still tell yourself you’ll get to it someday?
