Beadboard is a timeless design feature that brings texture and cottage charm to any room. I love how it adds character, and it has been a favorite in many of our older homes. We currently have beadboard wainscoting in our house, and I’m excited to be adding it to our new kitchen. Installation began on Friday, so I’ll share photos and details in an update post this week showing exactly how we’re using it.
In this Sunday Strolls & Scrolls post, I’m sharing five lovely rooms that showcase beadboard walls. Each space highlights different ways to use beadboard—from full-height paneling to wainscoting—so you can find inspiration for your own home.

Sunday Strolls + Scrolls is a series inspired by interiors and exteriors I discover while browsing online. I look for spaces that feel like a sanctuary—quiet, welcoming, and thoughtfully curated. My hope is these posts feel like a relaxing walk through a charming neighborhood or a peaceful stroll in a garden, offering fresh ideas and a moment of inspiration.
