Valentine’s Romance Resolutions + HeartGram Giveaway

Will you give a Valentine to someone special this year? I will.

After many years of marriage, it’s easy for romance to take a back seat while you manage housework, kids, pets, jobs, bills, schedules, laundry and the constant demands of daily life. I’ll admit that for a while those practical responsibilities overshadowed the playful side of our relationship. That’s not how I want things to stay.

I’ve often wondered where the fairytale of romance went. Don’t get me wrong—my life is good and I’m grateful for it. Still, it’s remarkably simple to let meaningful moments slip away while attending to the urgent tasks life hands you. Even positive responsibilities can gradually pull you farther from the lighthearted, romantic parts of your relationship.

A few extra steps into busyness and grown-up duties can unintentionally move you further from romance. When you notice that spark dimming, it’s time to bring it back.

Intentionally living a romantic life and prioritizing fun in our relationship is my resolution this year. It’s the most important project I can take on.

Valentine's Day

These plush velvet HeartGram™ hearts from LoveFeast are a charming, elegant way to say “I love you” to someone special. This year I received the Turquoise and Lagoon HeartGram set and placed them in a silver bowl on the dining table. They’re irresistible—soft, squishable and sweetly decorative.

Every time I pass those velvet hearts, I pause for a moment and remind myself that some things are more important than the rush of the day. They act like a gentle heart-check.

Each HeartGram comes packaged in a kraft paper gift box with crinkle paper and a vintage-inspired postcard, tied with a satin ribbon. The postcard can be left blank for you to write your own message, or you can request that the LoveFeast team handwrite a note for you at the time of ordering.

The limited edition set in Turquoise and Lagoon includes a custom-designed postcard by artist Annie Barnett. These collectible HeartGrams make thoughtful gifts for a partner, a friend who needs cheering up, or a cherished family member.
