Decorating for spring should be fun. After a long winter, I love savoring and celebrating the season’s arrival with cheerful, simple touches. One of my favorite recent finds is a brass bunny candleholder that adds a bit of whimsy to our home. I also like using realistic artificial tulips, fresh greenery and blooming branches to bring color and life indoors. Small, familiar seasonal elements—birds, tulips and soft green accents—help make the space feel welcoming and renewed.

I spotted this adorable brass bunny candleholder recently and knew it belonged in my home. I enjoy weaving subtle, unexpected details like this into my decor year-round, not just in spring. Whimsical accents can be elegant and restrained when paired with classic pieces, and they help create a lighthearted, relaxed atmosphere without feeling overdone.

Although autumn has always been my favorite season at home, the longer days of spring and summer here in the Pacific Northwest are beautiful too. After months of cozy layers and holiday decorations, spring feels especially refreshing. Evolving the home gently with each season—adding personal touches that reflect our family—makes the space feel meaningful and alive.
