As promised, I’m back to share photos from a walk we took a couple of weeks ago through the charming Queen Anne neighborhood in Seattle. On a beautiful day, a simple stroll feels especially restorative, and after months of staying close to home we appreciate small outings like this even more.
There’s something restorative about moving slowly through a neighborhood: pausing beneath an arbor to breathe in roses and honeysuckle, tilting your head to admire trees and the clouds drifting over the water, or lingering to notice the architectural details of a well-loved house. These tiny moments of attention make a short walk feel like a small celebration of the everyday.
Below are photos from our walk—thank you for joining us. I hope these images offer a little inspiration and a quiet reminder to enjoy the simple pleasures close to home.
