The Pantry
I dream of having a pretty, well-organized pantry—especially in the fall. My new house includes a walk-in pantry just off the kitchen, but it’s currently basic wire shelving. I’ve been gathering inspiration photos and wanted to share the pantries that inspired me. Hopefully you’ll enjoy them too.

I have the same baskets shown here and hope my pantry will someday look this organized. It’s a goal I’m working toward.

I love the open shelving in this kitchen. I don’t mind seeing pantry items and dishes on display—real-life kitchens are familiar and welcoming. If you prefer a tidier look, keep the doors on; open shelving isn’t for everyone.

This smaller pantry with glass doors becomes a design feature while remaining highly functional. Glass-front storage makes contents easy to find and gives the space personality.

Pullout-style pantry units are brilliant for maximizing storage and keeping items accessible. They make it simple to reach everything without digging through deep shelves.

I’ve always tried to create a baking center in my kitchen, even in small spaces. Grouping baking essentials together keeps the process organized and enjoyable.

Recently I removed the doors from my upper cabinets in my baking area. It instantly brightened the space and made the kitchen feel larger. I haven’t finished styling everything yet, but showing white dishes on open shelves created an inviting, homey look.
I don’t have a fully finished kitchen—there are projects I’d like to tackle, like painting cabinets or adding a tile backsplash—but even small changes like open shelving can make a big difference.

A regular cabinet or a freestanding unit can provide excellent pantry storage when built-in space is limited. In several of my kitchens, a freestanding cabinet has been a practical, attractive solution.
