Caitlin Wilson’s Dining Room
II’ve always loved wingback chairs at the dining table. They lend a room instant charm and warmth. Used at the heads of the table, wingbacks create a focal point, and their classic silhouette works well with many chair styles and table shapes. Whether patterned or solid, they add personality and a welcoming atmosphere to dining spaces.

You may have noticed in my summer house tour that I recently added a pair of wingback chairs to my dining table. They’re a narrow, slender style that fits the table without overwhelming my smaller dining space. Although the chairs are gray, the lighting in the photos makes them read slightly bluer than they are in person.
These wingbacks are a cozy addition and create a lively mix with my table and existing chairs. Their scale is just right for everyday use and for hosting, bringing both comfort and style to the room.
*Chairs are from World Market (affiliate link; not sponsored—I simply find pieces I like there).
