Home-Style Saturdays: Fall Treats and Seasonal Tips

Young Living Farm Utah

Welcome to a new edition of Home Style Saturdays! Thank you all for your encouragement, thoughtful comments, and prayers as we adjusted to becoming empty nesters this week — your support meant so much to me.

After we dropped Luke off at college, my daughters and I left the next morning for a retreat with members of the Dwell Well Collective. We’ll be home Sunday, and I’ll resume posting more Fall Nesting articles next week. If you’ve missed any posts, you can catch up on the entire Fall Nesting series on my site.

The timing of the trip was a gentle way to take my mind off the newly quiet house. The photo at the top of this post is a peek from our visit to the Young Living farm in Lehi, Utah. It’s breathtaking — like a painting.

The farm is a lovely place to visit if you’re in the Salt Lake City area. I appreciate seeing firsthand the care that goes into the oils and products I use for my family. With so many lower-quality products on the market, it’s reassuring to witness an operation that hand-weeds its fields rather than relying on harsh chemicals. It felt inspiring and hopeful. I’ll share more photos next week from the farm’s Fall Festival.

Wishing you a wonderful weekend!
