I haven’t properly introduced you to my favorite little helper: our Roomba. I’ve mentioned her on social media, but if we haven’t met yet, let me tell you about her.
Her name is Roomba, and she’s a compact, round vacuum that has become indispensable in our home. I’ve had her for a few years and she has saved us so much time and effort. She feels like part of the family now.
Roomba steadily travels through the house collecting dust bunnies, stray pet hair, and tracked-in dirt and sand. Even in a home where dogs don’t shed heavily, loose hairs still form little clumps that Roomba takes care of. She keeps our floors looking tidy between deeper cleanings.
She moves smoothly across hard floors and transitions onto rugs, easily climbing up and over their edges. She also navigates under beds and furniture, reaching spots that are awkward to vacuum by hand. At first I thought a robotic vacuum might be unnecessary, but it’s truly amazing how helpful she is for daily maintenance.
