When selecting napkins, consider fabric and care. Pure linen offers a relaxed, natural look and softens with each wash. Raw silk brings a subtle sheen and a dressier feel, though it requires gentler handling. Cotton and cotton blends are durable and easy to launder, making them practical for frequent use. For patterned napkins, choose motifs that complement your dinnerware—polka dots, tiles, or simple geometric bursts work well across many styles.
Storage and presentation matter too. Keep napkins neatly folded or rolled in a dedicated drawer or basket so they’re ready when guests arrive.
