This Monday Mood Board is inspired by my real-life bedroom and the cozy, collected cottage style I’m slowly building. I think of it as a collected cottage bedroom mood board: a mix of pieces I already owned, a few items I added, and a handful of similar finds that help define the mood. Creating a mood-focused room is my favorite approach because there are no strict rules—just an invitation to shape how you want your home to feel.
The items shown here include exact pieces from my home as well as comparable options. Many of these elements were things I already had when I moved in; adding a few new accessories, textiles, and layers helped the room cohere into a distinct mood. This layered, collected method allows you to start with what you own and slowly add meaningful pieces over time—part of the fun is the “thrill of the hunt” as you discover the right additions.
