Having a charming bathroom has long been on my wish list. A couple of homes ago I had a bathroom very similar to the one pictured here, though with a different sink. Isn’t that black sink fantastic? My own bathroom was painted that same bright orange and I loved the cheerful citrus pop it brought to the space. It felt playful and inviting.
But enough about bathrooms for now. I wanted to share a quick update on what’s been happening this week. If you follow me on Facebook, you may already know that my middle daughter needed an emergency appendectomy recently.
It was a frightening experience—no parent wants to see an ambulance carrying their child to the hospital for urgent surgery. Thankfully, she is recovering well, and we’re hopeful she’ll be home by the end of the week, just in time to celebrate her 20th birthday. We feel so grateful. Thank you to everyone who sent prayers and kind messages on Facebook.
I do have a couple of posts scheduled to go up this week, but I’ll be mostly away from my computer, spending time with my daughter. There’s something comforting about sitting with her in that oversized hospital gown and bright red socks, walking laps together through the halls while she heals.
