Adapting to Seasonal Change: Tips for Home, Wardrobe, and Wellness

Hi friends! This week our youngest, Luke, graduates from high school. I’m excited for summer to begin, yet I also find myself wanting to slow down and savor these final days of this chapter.

I’m making a conscious effort to enjoy these last moments with Luke as a high school student. With him preparing to head off to college this fall, so much in our family life will change—and that brings both tenderness and anticipation.

Having seen our daughters remain close after their own graduations has reassured me. Even though this particular season with Luke at home is ending (and yes, there are tears!), I trust that a meaningful new season is beginning for our family.

I expect many emotions and special memories to surface this week since this is our baby who’s graduating. I’ll be sharing more about this experience and reflecting on the various seasons of motherhood in the days and weeks ahead.

I wrote about this season of life a few months ago in a post that resonated with many readers. If you missed it, it’s worth a look: Dwelling: The Heart of the Home Maker.
