Terrain
Thank you so much for helping Simple Gatherings reach best-seller status on Amazon this week. I’m truly grateful — your support turned what could have been a stressful launch into a joyful celebration.
The giveaways featuring beautiful items from Terrain are still open for one more day. If you haven’t entered yet, you’ll find the prize details and links below. Courtney and I carefully chose every item in the prize packs because we love them and wanted to share them with you. They’re lovely — definitely worth entering for!

It has been a joy connecting with so many of you this week over Simple Gatherings. That connection is the heart of the book — creating simple, meaningful opportunities to gather with friends and enjoy real conversation and hospitality.
Even if we don’t get to open our homes to each other in person, this shared interest in home and gatherings brings us together online. Ten years after starting this blog, I still feel amazed and grateful that this community keeps growing and that we can meet here each week.
I love hearing from you in the comments and by email. If you’ve been quiet or just reading along, I miss your voice — the comments and conversations are what make a blog feel like a gathering of friends. Thank you to everyone who takes the time to leave a note and keep that community alive.
I’m excited about upcoming posts in our fall nesting series — I have a few updates to my living room I can’t wait to share. But since the giveaways end soon, I wanted to introduce five dear friends who are generously hosting the giveaways on their blogs this week. You’ll find each host’s link and entry information below.

Meet Emily – Jones Design Company – Office
Emily has been a blogging friend for years. I admire her creative talent and kind spirit. We both live in Washington, so she feels like a nearby friend. She recently moved to a lovely home in one of my favorite towns in the state, and I’m hopeful we’ll have chances to get together in person soon.

Meet Beth – Home Stories A to Z – Dining Room
I met Beth through blogging and have enjoyed her friendship ever since. She’s endlessly creative and generous with support, especially during book launches. She and her family recently moved into a stunning home in South Carolina — I’m always inspired by her style and warmth.

Meet Sandy – Reluctant Entertainer – Outdoor Space
Sandy and I became close through blogging and live in the Northwest. We text often and meet up when we can. The photo above was taken in her beautiful backyard during a real-life gathering my husband and I attended — such a memorable evening. Sandy is the quintessential gracious hostess and a loyal friend. I’m grateful for her friendship.

Meet Bre – Rooms for Rent
Bre’s warmth and kindness have made the online world feel more welcoming to me. She’s always gone out of her way to help and encourage others. I admire how she shares her home and heart, and I adore the new puppy she and her husband recently welcomed.

Meet Jen – Balancing Beauty and Bedlam – Front Porch
Jen and I have been friends for years through our writing at (in)courage. We always have fun together when we get the chance, though we mostly keep in touch across the miles. Her porch is wonderfully inspiring — it was even featured in my first book, Love The Home You Have.
It still amazes me that friendships made online can become such genuine and meaningful connections. I’m grateful to have gathered these wonderful women along this blogging journey.
Now that you’ve met our hostesses, here’s another look at some of the prizes we’re giving away. A few gorgeous serving pieces are included at each stop in the Progressive Launch Party Giveaway. They’re all beautiful — be sure to enter each giveaway before time runs out.
