RAre you ready for some spring cleaning? My friend Tsh from Simple Mom is launching a timely initiative this week called Project Simplify. It’s a focused, practical push to tackle household clutter and create more calm as spring arrives.

Tsh, author of Organized Simplicity, brings years of experience helping people simplify their homes and routines. Her approach is encouraging and realistic—perfect for anyone who wants to make noticeable progress without feeling overwhelmed.

Project Simplify works by spotlighting one clutter “hot spot” each week for five weeks. Each Monday, a new area will be announced on Simple Mom. You spend the week organizing that space, then share your before-and-after photos on Friday. The structure makes the process manageable and motivating.

This project is great for both quick wins and deeper changes. Small, consistent efforts add up: clearing a countertop, sorting a bookshelf, or streamlining a closet can transform how a room feels and functions. The weekly cadence keeps momentum strong and makes it easier to stick with the plan.

I’ll be joining Project Simplify and sharing my own before-and-after photos each Friday. I hope you’ll join too—working alongside others makes the process more fun and inspires better results.

What are your clutter hotspots?

Consider the areas that cause the most friction day to day: entryways, kitchen counters, mail piles, toy areas, and junk drawers are common trouble spots. Pick one to start with, set aside a short block of time this week, and focus on sorting, donating, and finding a home for what remains.

As you work through each zone, aim for simple, sustainable solutions—clear labels, designated bins, and regular mini-maintenance sessions will help keep clutter from returning. Celebrate each small victory and share your results to encourage others.

Project Simplify is an opportunity to create a more peaceful, functional home through intentional steps. If you’re ready to clear space—physically and mentally—now is a great time to begin. I’ll post updates and photos each Friday as I progress. Will you join me?
