Want to join me on a Seabrook dream house tour? My family and I were fortunate to spend a few days in a true dream home in Seabrook on the Washington coast. The house belongs to my friend Susan, and getting to stay there felt like a rare and special gift.
Susan and her husband had the home custom built with thoughtful details throughout. You may remember seeing it in a post I shared last fall, right before they moved in. Susan drew inspiration from elements I’ve featured on the blog, including our kitchen, and it was a delight to see those ideas realized in her home.

I never expected to tour the house in person, let alone stay there. Even more generous, Susan and her husband let my family enjoy their home alone for several days so we could relax and make memories.
Their hospitality meant so much to us. This is their family home, not a vacation rental, which made the experience even more personal and meaningful.
In an unexpected turn, they recently decided to put the house on the market. They’ve chosen to embrace a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to travel the country in an RV. While I’m sad to see the house go, I admire their adventurous spirit and the reminder that life is for living.

I’m grateful I could experience the home while they still own it. If it were up to me, I’d happily buy it in a heartbeat. The house and the Seabrook community have a charm that reminds me of Nantucket — full of cozy streets, picturesque architecture, and a welcoming vibe.
Throughout our stay I felt completely at home. The view, setting, neighborhood, and cozy details make this a dream house in every way.
The view, the setting, the charm, the neighborhood, the coziness — it truly felt like a dream house.
I took many photos of the home and the surrounding Seabrook neighborhood. There are so many thoughtful details, architectural touches, and remodeling ideas to inspire anyone interested in design. I’ll be sharing plenty more images and takeaways here on the blog.
If you’d like a live look now, follow me on Instagram to see the home and neighborhood tour in my Insta Stories — it’s saved in the Seabrook highlight under my profile photo.
UPDATE: come take the two-part tour on the blog HERE!
There’s much more to come, both on Instagram and here on the blog, including a full photo tour and design notes from this beautiful home.
Happy day, friend!
