Good Eggs
A few weeks ago I wrote a guest post for Victoria’s blog, Decorating with Whimsy. She kindly sent a delightful box of goodies as a thank-you gift. Inside the box was this beautiful egg—aren’t the colors lovely? I was so happy to add it to one of my nests; it makes such a charming addition to my collection. Thank you, Victoria!
In other good-news updates, I want to thank Tonya from About.com’s Budget Decorating for naming The Inspired Room the Budget Decorating Blog of the Week. It was such a pleasant surprise to be featured so warmly. (I promise I didn’t nominate myself—though it’s nice to know that option exists for others!)
I was also honored to have my blue table featured on Apartment Therapy’s Re-Nest in their roundup “Painted Pieces: Making Old Loves Work in New Spaces.” It’s always fun to see projects highlighted in creative spaces.
And a heartfelt thank you to everyone who reached out about donating items to our church. Your generosity means so much—BIG hugs to each of you.
So many “good eggs” in blogland lately, don’t you think? I love how supportive and encouraging this community is.
On the topic of eggs: if you need a last-minute Easter brunch idea, I shared our favorite egg dish in an older post. We’re making it again this year and it’s always a crowd-pleaser.
