Today I want to answer a frequently asked question.
Where did you get your cafe curtains and cafe curtain hardware?
I have several cafe curtains in the house and plan to add more. They’re an easy, affordable way to introduce texture, pattern, color, and personality to a room.
In the kitchen we have:
Gold rod for the kitchen window
Gold curtain rings
Gingham cafe curtains

On our island, there’s a small niche where we hang a curtain to soften the look and add pattern. I enjoy swapping that curtain seasonally—winter to summer—and experimenting with different fabrics and prints for variety.

Blue and white toile cafe curtain used in another window of the kitchen creates a classic, cozy look.

This lightweight curtain is what we put up for summer. It’s airy and fresh, but would work well year-round if you prefer a lighter look.
Striped cafe curtain used in another spot adds a casual, coastal feel; I’ve shared more about it in a kitchen post.

A quick curtain solution was added in our Snug before guests arrived. We’ve since updated it, but the linen cafe curtains we used are a great neutral option that blends with many styles.
Linen cafe curtains for a simple, neutral look.
White tension rod option that works well in smaller windows or snug spaces.
White cafe curtain rings for a clean, seamless hang.
Below are some other curtains I own or like — images show details and styles to consider.
