Hi friends, Courtney here. I wanted to share a recent addition to my small apartment—my new standing desk for working from home—and a life update I’m excited about.
I’m getting married this summer! For months my fiancé Dong and I have been deciding where to live after the wedding. I currently live in a 500-square-foot one-bedroom apartment, and Dong lives nearby. We’ve been searching for a place to be our first home together, and recently found one. Dong moved in a few weeks ago so we can set things up together before I move in after the wedding.
It’s thrilling to create our first home together. The new place is just a short walk from my current apartment, so I can move my things gradually between now and the wedding. I’ll share photos as we settle in.
Standing Desk for Working at Home
As we imagined the new apartment’s layout, a desk was high on our list. There’s a small den that will be a perfect office space for Dong’s desktop and my work-from-home setup. I work full time for my mom at The Inspired Room and usually use a laptop, but I’ve always liked the idea of a standing desk workspace.

FlexiSpot kindly sent us one of their electric standing desks to try, and we absolutely love it. I’d heard great reviews about the brand and now see why they’re so popular.

Standing Desk Features
The desk I chose is the Comhar All-in-One Standing Desk. For now I set it up in the corner of my living room, and it’s been so nice to stand and work comfortably instead of sitting all day. It will also be ideal for our new den/office.
This model comes in white or black; I picked the white with a tempered glass top and love its clean, modern look. FlexiSpot offers many styles, including wood and bamboo tops, so there are options to match different decor.

The desk height is motorized and easily adjusted with a button, so you can switch between sitting and standing. It also allows saving up to four height presets for quick changes. Assembly was straightforward—Dong and I put it together in just a few minutes—and the build quality impressed me.
I appreciate practical features like a deep drawer for office supplies and built-in USB ports for charging my phone while I work. These thoughtful touches make the desk both attractive and functional.

FlexiSpot also offers other options, including tabletop converters that turn any surface into a standing desk and desk-bike workstations for a more active setup.
I’m really happy with this desk and look forward to sharing more of our new apartment as we continue to set it up. Follow along on Instagram for apartment and life updates!
Thank you to FlexiSpot for providing this desk in exchange for our honest review.
