Giant Candy Canes in a Hurricane Vase: Festive Centerpiece Idea

Christmas Candy Canes in a Jar!

Several readers asked about the candy canes I used on my Christmas table, so I wanted to share this version — it features the most impressive candy canes I’ve seen. They’re huge, festive, and fun.

Although they’re store-bought, these are labeled as handmade candy canes and are fully edible. They were so large I couldn’t fit them into a standard mason jar, so I arranged them in one of my glass hurricanes. The oversized canes make an eye-catching display and bring instant holiday cheer.

For the jar’s base I used real decorative snow this time instead of the Epsom salts I sometimes use. It gives a more authentic winter look and helps the canes stand in place while staying visually light and seasonal.

I found this particular style of candy cane at Costco; they come individually wrapped, which makes them convenient for gifting or attaching to packages as a simple, sweet accent.

Love ’em!

These candy canes are an easy, low-effort way to add color and charm to holiday décor. Whether grouped in a jar, placed in a hurricane, or packaged as small gifts, they make a cheerful seasonal statement.
