Happy Monday! Kylee here with another update on my entryway. I wanted to share the new artwork I ordered from Minted. Adding color with art was a priority for making this area feel warm and welcoming. I’ve used Minted before when creating a gallery wall in my previous home, so I was excited to work with them again in this new space. Their collection makes it easy to discover pieces from independent artists around the world.
One feature I particularly love on Minted is the “View in My Room” tool. As a visual person, being able to preview art on my walls makes a big difference. With the mobile AR option you can virtually place artwork in your space: click “View In My Room” under any fine art listing, scan the QR code with your phone, and see how the piece looks in your room. My husband and I browsed together, picked several favorites, and used the preview tool to compare how each option felt in the entry. That helped us choose with confidence.
We chose a piece called Morning Mist by Lorent and Leif. We were drawn to its subtle, slightly moody palette that complements the space. The artwork we selected is 40×30 in a matte brass frame, and we opted for UV-plexi glass to reduce glare since the entry gets some direct light.
We also added a peaceful landscape, Broken Clouds by Stephanie Goos Johnson, to lean on the new entry cabinet. This one is framed in walnut and adds a calm, grounded touch to the vignette.
