Have you been enjoying the Christmas home tours online? It’s such a festive time of year, and I love seeing how everyone makes their house feel cozy and special. Today I’m sharing a few favorite seasonal décor pieces that I’ve been using — they’re easy to style, beautiful, and they also make thoughtful gifts.

One of my go-to accents for instant holiday cheer is a seasonal banner. A glittery “Merry Christmas” garland is perfect anywhere in the home — on a mantel, draped on the tree, across a dresser, or hung on a wall. It’s a small piece that packs a lot of festive sparkle and can be used year after year.
I had fun styling a garland on our mantel this week and I love how it brightened the room, especially on a dark, stormy day.

It even comes in a pretty little box, which makes it easy to wrap and gift.

A cozy cable-knit throw is another favorite — perfect for chilly nights and a reliable, well-loved gift. This style usually has one side lined with faux sheepskin and the other with chunky cable knit, creating warmth and texture that looks great draped on a chair or folded in a basket.

I’ve been collecting blankets lately because they’re so versatile. I like having a stack ready on a shelf or in a basket for guests, and I place throws over the backs of chairs, ottomans, or the end of the bed to add warmth and visual interest.
This particular throw looks beautiful in any room throughout winter. It’s practical and decorative, and having a few on hand makes a home feel welcoming.

Jack and Lily love cozy blankets too!

This blanket arrives tied in a neat bundle, ready to box and give as a thoughtful present.

I like to decorate with classic, tasteful pieces that transition easily from season to season, then add a few festive touches to make holidays feel special. The key is keeping a few foundational items that you can adapt for any time of year.

Glass hurricanes and candle holders are some of my most-used pieces because they’re so versatile. They work with natural elements like pinecones, moss, or book pages, and they can be dressed up or down depending on the season and the occasion.

With just a few simple items I already had on hand, I created three different centerpieces suitable for winter that can be easily updated for spring or summer. Use them on a mantel, console table, or grouped together on a dining table. The variations are endless, and that’s the beauty of interchangeable décor.

A simple glass candle holder always makes a tasteful gift and suits nearly any home. It’s a practical item that elevates everyday décor and adds warmth when lit.

During the season, watch for special offers and daily deals on seasonal favorites. They’re a great way to pick up a lovely gift or add a fresh touch to your holiday décor without building up too much extra storage.
Tomorrow I’ll share part two of my Christmas house tour — I hope you’ll stop by for another look!
