To invite more joy into your daily life, consider focusing on three key areas of well-being:
1. Self Care — tend to your body, mind, and spirit.
2. Sanctuary — shape a healthy, nurturing, and peaceful environment.
3. Acts of Kindness — practice generosity, spread joy, and express gratitude.
When we pay attention to nourishing ourselves and the people we live with in these areas, we feel more motivated to take positive steps. Finding a balance that fits your life brings more joy throughout the day, week, and month.
Everyday routines have a powerful influence on how we feel. I believe in the transformative effect of simple, consistent habits, including in homemaking. After I adopted four daily routines, I discovered greater pleasure in caring for myself and my home. Those small, repeatable actions changed my life.
