You could have knocked us over with a feather back in December when we won the Remodel, Blog & Win contest. Not only did we receive $5,000, we also earned an interview with Meghan Carter of AskTheDecorator.com. Meghan’s busy travel schedule meant the interview was scheduled for June, which gave us several months to prepare the house for its close-up.
The interview day finally arrived this past Saturday.
In hindsight we could have taken more behind-the-scenes photos while the tripods, cameras, and lights were set up in our small rooms, but we did remember to capture a shot with Meghan Carter after the interview.
Those smiles are genuine — we were thrilled to manage coherent conversation under the hot lights. Meghan and her team were warm, professional, and a pleasure to work with. We enjoyed the whole experience and look forward to sharing the video interview when it is released in a few weeks. Stay tuned!
