Sherry is now three weeks away from her due date (May 19th), so we thought it was the perfect time to launch a little baby pool. As with any traditional pool, we’re asking readers to guess when our baby girl will arrive.
To add a YHL twist, this baby pool includes a home-decor-focused prize: a $100 gift card to West Elm. It may not be strictly baby-themed, but we wanted a prize that would appeal to everyone—parents and non-parents alike. We were thrilled when West Elm generously provided the gift card for one lucky reader. We’re big fans of their products.

How the baby pool works:
- Leave a comment on this post with the DATE you think our baby girl will arrive. You don’t need to guess a time or weight—though you can if you want. Feel free to mention your favorite West Elm item for fun.
- The pool will remain open for guesses until we announce Baby P’s arrival. You can guess now or wait, but note that we won’t be posting the exact birth moment, so waiting could mean missing your chance.
- After we’ve had time to recover from delivery, we’ll use random.org to select ONE RANDOM WINNER from the entries that correctly guessed the date.
- The prize is a $100 West Elm gift card and is available to U.S. residents only. Limit one entry per email address.
