When I moved to the Seattle area, one of the things I disliked most was that there wasn’t a HomeGoods store nearby. I used to drive three hours each way to shop in Portland — not ideal, but sometimes necessary.
We do have a TJ Maxx close by, which helps, but it’s not the same as a full 20,000-square-foot HomeGoods. If you haven’t experienced a large HomeGoods, you’re missing out on a treasure trove of affordable, stylish accessories, lamps, rugs, furniture and a huge variety of home goods.
Over the years I’ve brought home many lovely finds from HomeGoods, and I missed having that shopping experience nearby. But things have changed for the better.
This is an exciting month: HomeGoods is opening two stores in the Seattle area. One will open in Federal Way and the other in Lynnwood on June 24. Seattle shoppers, rejoice — help has arrived!
The timing is perfect for me since I’m in full redecorating mode, and I can’t wait to be one of the first through the door. I plan to shop early and eagerly explore the new selection.
