Hey friends! Happy June! I’ve been having so much fun planning my new kitchen. Although the process has moved slowly while we wait on contractors and schedules, I still love kitchen design. I’m not a professional designer—I simply enjoy dreaming about remodeling and collecting the very best ideas for a kitchen refresh.
Over the past few months I’ve gathered more inspiration than I could ever use in a single kitchen. I might need a dozen kitchens to try everything I’ve saved! Hunting for fresh, beautiful ideas has been joyful but time-consuming: there are countless options to evaluate and sort through. Since I only have one kitchen to renovate, I decided to share the standout ideas I loved most with you instead.

Starting tomorrow I’ll launch a new summer series called The Best of the Best, beginning with a month focused on Kitchen Ideas and Inspiration. Alongside the usual updates from around my home—like a guest bedroom reveal coming soon and progress on our own kitchen remodel—I’ll share a steady stream of kitchen-focused posts this month.
Expect posts that highlight thoughtful inspiration for every corner of the kitchen: layout solutions, cabinetry choices, countertop options, clever storage ideas, lighting concepts, styling tips, and small details that make a space feel inviting. I’ll share the ideas I’ve collected during my planning process and point out what I love about each approach so you can adapt them to your own space.
Although I can’t use every idea I’ve gathered (sad face), I hope this series sparks new directions for your kitchen—whether you’re planning a full remodel or simply refreshing a few elements. Dreaming up possibilities is one of the best parts of the process, and I hope these posts inspire you to try something new.
Next month I’ll continue The Best of the Best series with a different focus, bringing more curated inspiration for other rooms and projects around the house.
I can’t wait! See you back here tomorrow for the first Best of the Best Kitchen Ideas and Inspiration post.
