When we began our side yard project earlier this year, I had hoped it would be finished by spring so we could enjoy it all summer. It didn’t get completed, and we still haven’t had a chance to use it. I keep saying it’s getting closer, and now I’m aiming for mid-fall. While the slow progress has been frustrating, it didn’t stop us from improving another area of our yard.

I like simple projects that quickly transform a space. In our last home we built a firepit on the pea-gravel patio, and it instantly made the yard more inviting and useful. We planned to build another firepit on the backyard patio here, but for safety we decided it should be placed further from the house. Since we didn’t have time this year to prepare a new gravel area, that project will wait.

Recently I was thrilled to find an effortless way to add ambiance to our patio. The Fire Fountain by Aquascape proved perfect for the space. There was no waiting on contractors, no mess, and it only took minutes to set up. Exactly the kind of instant upgrade I love.

The Fire Fountain became a lovely focal point where our family gathers. The combination of bubbling water and a gentle flame creates a soothing, cozy ambiance—ideal for cool evenings. When the night is over, extinguish the flame, unplug the fountain, allow it to cool, and cover it for easy storage until next time.

The fountain brought the warmth and atmosphere our patio needed and provided a simple way to bring the family together.

HOW TO ORDER:
If you’re ready to order or want to explore other models and sizes, check Aquascape’s product information for their Fire Fountain options. For the model I have, I chose the medium size. Two items you may want to have on hand are paraffin oil for the flame and decorative river rocks to finish the look.
