Wow — a few days passed without a post. If you’ve ever wondered what bloggers do when they’re quiet, for me it usually means life projects are happening offline. It’s hard to both blog all day and get things done around the house. I also spent some time pinning, which is definitely easier than writing a full post.
This week I dove into a new project. Remember the hallway where I hung my command center and kept meaning to repaint? That “someday” finally arrived. The walls were scuffed and dirty, and I couldn’t stand the contrast between the fresh command center and the tired trim. So I set aside time to clean up and repaint the hallway. I’ll share an update soon. (Also, notice the new step stool in the photo — paired with my trusty BFF, I’m finally better equipped to tackle quick household projects.)
Aside from painting, I spent a fair amount of time dealing with our mischievous dog, Jack. You might have seen this on Facebook: he was bouncing around the sofa when he knocked over my pretty turquoise lamp. It shattered on the floor next to the white sofa. I’m hoping to glue it back together, but for now it’s held with tape. Not exactly classy, but it’ll do until I find my super glue.
So that’s been my week — painting, fixing, and managing a very energetic pup. What are you up to this weekend? Are you planning to watch the Super Bowl?
