I love staying home in my pajamas to avoid the crowds, especially on busy shopping weekends like Black Friday — introverting is my specialty. I’m not a huge Black Friday shopper, but I do like to browse the deals so I don’t miss anything worth buying. If you’re relaxing at home in your pajamas or taking a quick break at work and want to see some good sales, I put together a list of stores I shop and the best Black Friday offers I’ve found.

Where relevant, I’ve highlighted stores and items to make shopping easier. I’ll update this post if new deals appear, so check back through the day.

I think this is the happiest deal of the day, 30% off EVERYTHING

1. My favorite store currently has a fantastic promotion: 30% off everything with the code LETSGO. It’s a joyful sale — definitely worth a look if you want a broad discount across many categories.

2. I’ve purchased many home items from World Market over the years — a tufted ottoman, an industrial cart, chairs and decorative pieces. Right now you can save 25% on all furniture, enjoy buy-one-get-one offers on throw pillows and mugs, and find deals on frames, towels and string lights. Baskets are 50% off; a popular flatback hanging door basket is only $10 and I use one every season to refresh my front door display.

3. This is an excellent time for books, electronics and household essentials. Between November 24 and 28 you can save $10 on a $25 book purchase at Amazon with the code HOLIDAYBOOK, a great way to pick up books and gifts. Many Kindle Paperwhite models and reading accessories are discounted. An Instant Pot and other kitchen items often see substantial one-day reductions, and smart speakers receive regular price cuts during this period.

Black Friday Deals

4. Pottery Barn usually runs strong Black Friday offers, including around 30% off throws. Their cozy cable knit throw with faux sheepskin lining is often included in these discounts and is a favorite for chilly evenings.

5. Serena & Lily is another go-to for quality home pieces — right now you can get 20% off sitewide. I’ve sourced items like a rattan mirror, a daybed and dip-dyed wood stools there; their sale prices make investing in signature pieces easier.

6. For rugs, furniture, lighting and everyday household finds, Wayfair offers deep discounts this weekend. Look for clearance and seasonal deals, including significant savings on headboards and bedroom updates if you want to refresh a room before the holidays.

7. If you’re considering a wellness focus for the new year, now is a strong time to explore membership and starter kits for essential oils and diffusers. Black Friday offers often include bundles and limited-time discounts on diffusers, oil sets and related accessories. Shop early for the best selection, as some deals end by mid-afternoon.

8. With colder weather arriving, cozy clothing and accessories are top of mind. Old Navy typically offers 50% off many items, including scarves and other seasonal pieces, often with free shipping on orders over a threshold.

9. J. Crew’s promotions often include 40% off sitewide. This is a convenient time to pick up seasonal accessories like touchscreen-friendly gloves and small giftable items such as compact emergency kits.

10. Window coverings are a purchase worth timing with Black Friday. Select Blinds often runs a major sale with substantial percentage discounts, buy-three-get-one-free offers, and other incentives like extended warranties for early shoppers. These events are ideal for ordering shades, blinds, drapes or shutters when you’re planning a home update.

Because shopping the web can feel overwhelming, I collect favorites in my shop pages so you can browse curated gift ideas and home finds in one place. I add items regularly, so check back for fresh inspiration for your home or gift list.

Enjoy the deals, the downtime, and the leftovers. I’ll return soon with Christmas decorating ideas and some kitchen updates. Happy Friday, friends!
