With summer officially starting in just a few days, I’m swapping out heavy linens for lighter fabrics, bringing in a brighter color palette, fresh flowers and natural seasonal accents. Small changes make the house feel more open and relaxed for the warmer months.
The last few months at home have given me time to think about how our family uses the space. Some things remain uncertain, but the experience has clarified what matters most: comfort, flexibility and a few practical updates to support our daily routines.
Our home has always been central to our wellbeing, and now more than ever I’m focused on making it feel restorative, tidy and inviting.
Below are a few summer rooms that are inspiring me this season. I hope they spark ideas for refreshing your own space.
