My family owns a beach house near Cannon Beach, and it’s one of our favorite nearby escapes. Over the years we’ve spent many relaxed weekends there. Cannon Beach is not only a wonderful place to unwind — I plan to write a full post about it soon — it’s also home to one of my absolute favorite stores, Sesame & Lilies.
Sesame & Lilies is the kind of shop that invites you to linger. I always end up buying something, but even if I didn’t, walking through the rooms is a joy. The vignettes and carefully curated displays are full of inspiration and ideas for the home. Every visit leaves me with fresh decorating thoughts and a cheerful mood.
We popped in a few weeks ago and I photographed the store so you can enjoy a peek inside. Take your time wandering through these images and imagine the textures, colors, and unique pieces that give the shop its charm. It truly feels like a place you could move into and be perfectly content.
