One of the things I’m most excited about as I plan our remodel is picking out new appliances. I haven’t purchased appliances in years—during our last kitchen update we simply kept what we had—so I didn’t pay attention to the advances on the market. Now that we’re starting fresh, researching options has been fun. There are a lot of useful innovations making daily life easier and more efficient.

A few weeks ago I attended the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas for the first time. CES is a massive innovation conference, and I was invited to join Samsung as one of their brand ambassadors. It was exciting to see their newest appliance designs up close and learn how they work.
Today I want to introduce two Samsung appliances that stood out to me: the Family Hub refrigerator and the AddWash washing machine. Both models show how far appliances have come since I last shopped. They offer practical features that help busy households stay connected and organized while saving time and energy.

First, the Samsung Family Hub refrigerator caught my attention. Our household has grown busier as my business has expanded, and we rely on technology more to stay organized. I still appreciate a physical command center on the wall and paper planners, but electronic calendars help me color-code schedules, set reminders, and coordinate everyone more efficiently.
The Family Hub brings that organization straight to the refrigerator with a built-in digital family center everyone can see. The touchscreen acts as a shared hub for calendars, notes, photos, and more, making it easy to keep the household informed and on the same page. It also includes practical features like internal cameras and smart food management to reduce waste and help plan meals.
I also appreciate the FlexZone feature, which lets you convert a compartment from refrigerator to freezer as needed—very handy for varying storage needs. The combination of organization, connectivity, and adaptable storage makes the Family Hub a compelling option for modern family life.

The other appliance that impressed me was the Samsung AddWash washing machine. I wrote about it previously, and at CES I finally saw it in action. Front-load washers are efficient, but they historically made it difficult to add items once a cycle had started. AddWash solves that by incorporating a small extra door in the front, allowing you to toss in a stray sock, an extra towel, or a delicate item mid-cycle without interrupting the wash.
The AddWash design increases convenience and reduces the need to rewash a whole load, which saves water, energy, and time. It’s a thoughtful update for anyone who manages busy laundry routines.
Hope you enjoyed our sneak peek! I can’t wait to share more plans for our upcoming kitchen remodel, including cabinet colors, counter and layout ideas!
I am thrilled to be a brand ambassador for Samsung Home Appliances and this post was created as a part of my partnership. My experiences and opinions are my own.
