Happy Thanksgiving to my friends in the U.S. and to everyone reading from around the world. I wish I could welcome each of you to our table this year, but for now a blog post will have to do. I want to say how deeply grateful I am for your friendship, encouragement, and the joy you’ve brought me during these past ten Thanksgivings. It’s hard to believe I’ve been blogging that long, but I’m truly thankful for every year.
When I was newly married and setting up our first little condo, I never imagined that one day I would have this corner of the internet where fellow home lovers could gather. I didn’t foresee a place where we could share seasonal ideas, swap remodeling stories, or celebrate contentment with what we already own.
From the very beginning this community has been such an unexpected gift. I love writing these posts, but even more I love hearing from you. It means so much to know that you—my readers and friends—are out there shaping your own homes and lives, too.

Many of you have stuck with me through moves and renovations, through the busy, the messy, and the quiet in-between moments. I know there are countless blogs and creators to follow these days, so I never take it for granted that you choose to check in here. Your presence brings warmth to my heart and a gratefulness I can’t quite put into words.
Thank you—truly, thank you—from the bottom of my heart.
I realize this season can be difficult for many, and for others it is a time of special comfort. My thoughts and blessings are with you all. Wherever you sit down to dinner today, I hope you feel loved and remember that you’ve made a difference in my life. I am so grateful for you.
I’ll be back tomorrow.
xo,
