I love fresh spring flowers, but realistic faux options are a lifesaver when the real thing isn’t available. These faux tulips I recently purchased look and even feel very authentic, and they bring the same cheerful touch to a room without the need for maintenance.
There’s something special about bringing freshly cut flowers from the garden into the house, but faux stems can be a wonderful alternative when you don’t have what you want on hand. Faux flowers stay perfectly preserved, so you never have to deal with wilting or droop. They also mix seamlessly with real blooms—no one needs to know which is which.
I ordered several bunches of tulips for spring and have peonies on the way for summer from the same brand. I picked a spring orange and a light pink and I’ll share photos when they arrive. They might even be useful for wedding decor this summer. Puttering in the garden is one of my favorite pastimes at this time of year, and I’m excited to plan new garden spaces. Our yard already has mature bushes and trees and is compact enough to design and maintain easily, so I can already picture a charming finished look.
