Iam thrilled to announce my brand new book, a project very close to my heart. For several years I’ve focused on streamlining and simplifying my life, developing habits that support a more organized home. I learned that holding on to too much of the wrong stuff affected how I felt and functioned. In the past, I would clear one closet only to fill another. Clutter and endless chores were stealing space and joy from the things I truly wanted to bring into my life. I was tired of keeping up with stuff. I knew what I was supposed to do, but still found myself stuck in a cycle of clutter and busyness.

I finally decided enough was enough. I needed changes that would last. If I wanted a simpler, more purposeful life, I had to change my mindset and build new habits. Over time I made deliberate choices and became intentional about making room for what really matters. I’m happy to say I haven’t looked back.

My home still isn’t perfect — and it likely never will be — but I now feel equipped to make better decisions about what to keep and what to let go of. Once I committed to a new way of thinking, stuff stopped controlling me. I developed a practical plan that keeps me focused on what matters every day.

While we were moving into this house, I wrote this book to share the lessons I learned through the process of decluttering, organizing, and simplifying our home. I’m excited to finally share the news: my new book is called Make Room for What You Love and it will be released May 1.

You can preorder my book now at Barnes & Noble or Amazon and it will be shipped to you when it releases. Hooray!

The inspiration for this book emerged during a season of juggling too much stuff — moving tends to highlight how much you’ve kept over the years. I don’t recommend writing a book and moving at the same time, but despite the chaos, the passion behind this message made it my favorite book to write so far.

The lessons in Make Room for What You Love have been transformative for me, both in my home and in how I relate to the things that clutter my life.

Whether you struggle with excess belongings or simply want to rekindle your love for your home and focus on what truly matters, I hope this book brings encouragement, grace, and fresh inspiration.

I’m committed to not letting the wrong stuff be the boss of me. What fills our home and our lives should inspire us, not weigh us down.

This book is not a manifesto for minimalism, nor is it a manual for organizing every single item you own. Instead, Make Room for What You Love is a practical, encouraging guide for inviting what matters into your life as you learn to let go of what holds you back.

The book offers motivating habits and actionable tips for simplifying your home so it works well for your family and fuels your dreams. It’s organized into ten chapters that encourage specific goals and cultivate a new mindset for success. In the back you’ll find a practical challenge section designed to give you a realistic plan for decluttering and organizing your home.

If you’d like to help spread the word, I’d be delighted if you’d share the book cover or graphics from this post.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness and support as I pursue new adventures. Writing books and running this blog have been unexpected joys and blessings, and it means so much to have you with me on this journey.
