Its Fine Tune technology factors in outdoor humidity so that, for example, a setting of 70 actually feels like 70. That attention to real comfort is a big plus.
I love being able to change the temperature from my phone or tablet, or tell the Lyric I’m heading out and have it switch modes automatically. When I’m a few miles from home, it can start warming the house back to my preferred temperature so we arrive to a cozy home. If only I could tap my phone and have dinner ready and the kitchen cleaned—one thing at a time.
One of my favorite conveniences is adjusting the heat from bed or from the couch without having to go downstairs. Whether it’s a late movie night or an early morning when getting out of a warm bed is tough, I can simply use my phone to change the temperature.
The Lyric app lets you create shortcuts for specific activities or routines—warmer for exercising, cooler for entertaining, or preset scenes for morning and night. It also sends reminders for furnace filter changes, which helps maintain system efficiency and prolong furnace life.
