Happy Monday! Kylee here with an update on my entry and to share the new artwork I added from Minted. Bringing color into this area was a top priority to make the space feel warm and inviting. I’ve used Minted before for a gallery wall in our previous home, so I was excited to include their pieces again in my new place. It’s an easy way to discover original art from independent artists around the world.

Art Source: Morning Mist by Lorent and Leif

One feature I love on Minted is the “View In My Room” tool. I’m a very visual person, and being able to preview artwork on a wall makes choosing so much easier. The mobile AR feature lets you see how a piece will look in your space—simply select “View In My Room,” scan the QR code with your phone, and watch the art appear on your wall. My husband and I browsed together, saved a few favorites, and used the preview to see how each would work in the entry. That helped us feel confident about our final choice.

We selected Morning Mist by Lorent and Leif. The piece has a subtle, slightly moody feel and the color palette felt right for the entry. We ordered the 40×30 size and chose a matte brass frame. To reduce glare from direct light in that spot, we opted for UV-plexi glazing.

Art Source: Broken Clouds by Stephanie Goos Johnson

We also added Broken Clouds by Stephanie Goos Johnson to lean on the new entry cabinet. Its quieter tones and walnut frame complement the other piece and tie the vignette together.

Minted is offering readers of The Inspired Room a discount: 20% off framed art plus free shipping.

Thank you to Minted for providing these beautiful prints.

More to come on the entry—I’ll be back soon to show the full space in context with the living room and share tips for creating the feeling of a dedicated entry, even when you don’t have a separate room.
