Scripps Networks is providing high-quality video content for The Inspired Room on a brand-new video section of the blog. I’m thrilled to share these short, useful videos that cover everything from seasonal decorating to room makeovers and DIY projects. No, I don’t have to film them myself—though maybe someday—because these are produced by the professionals.
I’ve organized a new section on the blog specifically for these videos, modeled after my Room Tours and DIY pages. The video section is easy to browse and is full of quick, enjoyable clips you can watch anytime you need inspiration or a few creative ideas.
Whether you want tips for Christmas decorating, tours of beautiful living rooms, or practical remodeling and styling advice from HGTV designers, the new video pages are a great resource. I personally love watching decorating shows in the evenings, so I’m excited to feature them directly on the blog.
Soon there will be a banner across the top of the site with a tab to make the video pages even easier to find. I’ll also share recommendations from time to time when I spot videos I think you’ll enjoy.
On the video pages you can browse all the available content by using the numbered navigation at the bottom of the page, then click the individual video you want to watch. The layout makes it simple to find new videos and revisit favorites.
If you prefer to search by topic, use the drop-down menu in the right sidebar to filter by video category. You can also click any category link beneath a video to see related videos grouped on a single page.
Many players include multiple related videos within the same player. When you see a list of titles under a player, you can select a single title to watch or press play to watch them in sequence. Each video also has its own volume control so you can adjust sound to your preference.
It’s all very straightforward—play around with the players and you’ll quickly get comfortable navigating and enjoying the content. We’re just getting started and will add new videos regularly, so check back often for fresh ideas and inspiration.
