Meet Lily: A Heartwarming Story of Courage and Friendship

australian labradoodle

I couldn’t resist this face.

The first time I saw her, only a week ago, I knew her name was Lily. It fit her perfectly.

I told my husband I had to bring her home.

Knowing how much Jack would adore a new friend, we welcomed Lily into our family.

We already can’t imagine life without her — she belongs here.

Her face is the sweetest.

Lily came from a loving home with many siblings and cousins. Before we even met her, her previous owner prayed that Lily’s new family would be a blessing to her and that she would be a blessing to them. From the start, she has felt like a true blessing to our family.

Her little human brother fell for her immediately, just as we did.

She plays hard and naps hard — the perfect balance.

Jack and Lily meet

Jack was curious about Lily from the very first moment.

Lily, however, adored Jack even more. And her sisters are completely smitten with her!

She doesn’t seem to mind where she naps, as long as she’s close to us.

big and little

Jack weighs about 45 pounds and Lily will likely reach around 25 pounds, but for now she’s just a tiny, energetic pup.

They already play together wonderfully. Lily clearly thinks she’s the alpha and happily takes charge, but she does so with a sweet, confident personality rather than being bossy. Jack seems to enjoy her company and tolerates her leadership with good humor.

See what I mean?

She wants to do everything Jack does and she adores his favorite spots around the house.

I can already picture some mischievous adventures in their future — they make a very entertaining pair.

Lily is a precious, loving little dog. I know you’ll enjoy following her adventures and photos as much as you have Jack’s. Sharing their moments brings a lot of joy.
