Hello friends — happy Friday! It’s hard to believe June is nearly over, so I wanted to share a few updates about what I’ve been doing lately and some places I’ve been around the web.
A few snapshots from my Instagram this month: a peek at my secret garden (still a work in progress), snippets of daily life, and little moments that have made June feel special. When the garden is finished I’ll post a full update and tour.

We received the sweetest gift from our publishing team at Harvest House: a framed cover of Love the Home You Have alongside the New York Times Best Seller announcement. It was such a thoughtful surprise, and I loved hanging it in my office where I see it each morning.
If you haven’t picked up a copy yet, it makes a lovely summer read. You can find it at your favorite book retailer.

We celebrated my son’s birthday recently, and I was moved by a post called “Eighteen Summers” on (in)Courage that reflected on the passage of time and motherhood.
I also did a short radio interview about the book — feel free to listen to it above.

My husband and I enjoyed a two-day getaway to Port Townsend last week. It was a refreshing little escape, and I took several photos so I can share an “Out to See” and a drive-by tour of the area with you soon.
Next week I’ll be sharing the first Love Your Home Challenge of the summer. I’ve loved seeing what some of you have already done — please continue to share your projects on Home Love Stories or on Instagram using the hashtag #lovethehomeyouhave. It’s been inspiring to see how small changes can make a big difference in how a home feels.
